Enger Tower sits high on the bluffs of Duluth, MN’s above the West End/Lincoln Park District.    It was once called Grand Mountain.   The park was purchased from money willed to the city by a West End furniture dealer named Bert Enger in 1921, and named in his honor.  The tower was built in 1939, is 80 feet tall and has 105 steps to the top.  It has a 350 panoramic view that is worth the climb.
